Hi travellers!!
Today a new destination in Spain! Toledo is a city full of charm, worth a stop on your tour to visit.
Toledo is a city located in central Spain, 70 km south of Madrid. It is the capital of the province of Toledo. It's also the capital of autonomous community of Castile-La Mancha. It was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986 for its extensive cultural and monumental heritage as one of the former capitals of the Spanish Empire and place of coexistence of Christian, Jewish and Muslim cultures,
There are many historical building you do not miss to visit in Toledo such as the Cathedral, Toledo's Alcázar, Bisagra Door, Alcantara Bridge, Zocodover square, the jewish quarter, Sephardic Museum, Greco's house-museum.
I'm gonna recommend you take the tourist train in Zocodover square, It cost 4.50 euros without earphone and 5 euros with the earphone to listen the explication during the trip (but you can use your own by FREE) the train stop for 5 or 10 min next to the Parador so you can take pictures of the beautiful panoramic of Toledo's old town and Tajo's river.
When i bought the tickets for the train, the seller gave me a flyer to consume a free beer in a close bar called EL GALLO. the place was very lovely but the quality really sucks.
If you wanna eat really good and affordable Tapas in Toledo look for EL ENEBRO bar, located in an alley near the statue of Cervantes, on the stairs to the left side of Zocodover Square. Other recommendable bars are ABADIA, ALFILERITOS 44

Mazapán is a tipical sweets from Toledo, walking around the old town you can find them in all the window's stores but from my point of view kinda expensive. If you wanna try very cheap and delicious sweets. Look for the CONVENTO DE LAS AGUSTINAS GAITANAS. located in the GAITANAS street the cloistered nuns sell all kind of traditional sweets.
the convent is a bit hidden in the narrow streets, to be more exactly in the We bought a pack of 6 fluffy magdaleines for 3 euros, and a piece of sponge cake 0.75 euros
